Over seven albums the prolific, honey-voiced Brooklyn, NY singer-songwriter Clarence Bucaro has crafted an impressive canon of uplifting Americana, garnering comparisons to Jackson Browne and Van Morrison. 'Hills to Home,' the new release from Ohio native Clarence Bucaro is about the Brooklyn based songwriter's journey to the meaning of home. The new collection of eleven vibrant songs discuss the 33 year olds search and discovery. From the rolling 'Tallahassee' which tells the story of his hunger, naivety and passion for music on his first tour 15 years ago to memories of a church upbringing and gospel music in 'Sing Me Back Home.' 'Hills to Home' produced by Neilson Hubbard (Kim Richey, Glen Phillips, Garrison Starr, Michelle Malone) is at times playful in family tales like 'Something 'Bout You' and 'Little Brother' and other times nostalgic as felt in 'Old Friend' where Bucaro sings 'Nobody knows you like an old friend.' In 'He Came out to the Sea' we learn of a traveler companion who went out to the Caribbean Sea to live out his last moments. Throughout the record, there is a sense of hope and feeling of a search for home and its fulfillment on the journey through the 'Hills of Your Heart'
