Martyrs & Misfits is a collection of folk songs on the guitar and piano. Each song tells a story; some are stories of characters invented by the artist, others are stories of real people. Songs on this album are inspired by people, life experiences, and the world. The tracks consist of nothing other than one instrument and one human voice, performed live for an organic sound that showcases the music in it's raw form. Inspired by a variety of musical styles from punk to ragtime, this album is quirky, whimsical, and a little dark.
