Year 1994. Memento Waltz is born in Tempio Pausania (Sardinia, Italy) by the mind of Gabriele Maccioco, Livio Poier and Giuseppe Deiana. Year by year it's new influences and it's musical growth forged the actual shape: a perfect marriage of psychedelic melodies, dark and introspective atmospheres, polyhedral rhythms and lyrics of dreams and excited mind states, mainly inspired by bands like King Crimson, Ark, Watchtower, but also Spiral Architect and a great variety of jazz-oriented genres. In 2005 the band released an EP called 'Overcoming' and sold it in Italy, doing also some gigs in Sardinia In 2006 the singer Marco Piu joined the band. In October 2010 the band finished the recording sessions of the Promo CD titled 'Antithesis of Time', In October 2011 the band played in the Progpower Europe, JC SIWA Baarlo (The Netherlands), supporting bands like Symphony X, Redemption, Mekong Delta and many others. The first full-length album 'Division by Zero' will be released in September 30th, 2013.
