Sawaka Katalyna was born in Japan but grew up in Mexico from 1 to 18, and then attended college in the United States. Her music is a blend of all these influences. It's happy yet poignant, bold yet delicate. She sings in 3 languages, English, Spanish and Japanese. All the songs in her album are encompassed by the same theme, 'Comienzos=Beginnings', whether it is a new beginning in one's life or an end of a relationship that hints a new start; her songs tell a story. The musicians in the band are a talented group of young musicians in Japan with experience playing with prominent figures, and their musical style is flexible yet accurate and crisp and energetic. Hope you take a listen to it! Sawaka Katalyna nació en Japón, pero creció en México por 18 años y atendió la universidad en Estados Unidos. Con esta formación tan internacional ella canta y compone canciones en las tres idiomas, español, inglés y japonés. Todas las canciones en este disco están compuestos con el mismo tema de 'Comienzos', ya sea un comienzo de una nueva etapa de la vida o un fin de una relación que indica también un comienzo de algo nuevo. Todas las canciones relatan una historia. Los músicos que participaron en este disco son un grupo de músicos talentosos jóvenes que también han tocado con varias figuras importantes de la música popular en Japón.
