'Womown' is the first recording from Chris Hatton and I.S.M. (The Italian Sound Machine). This EP was conceived, recorded, mixed and mastered in sunny Seven Hills, OH in Hatton's Analog Beard Studio. Hatton is a self proclaimed 'slave to vibe' His approach to writing and recording is as organic as possible. Whether it's waking up out of a dead sleep to re-record whole vocal tracks (The Girl in the Parade), Adding gangsta rap keys to a heavy syncopated bridge (Combine With You), Or having a bunch of drunk friends yelling mindlessly 'just because it's good (Delivering the Finisher),' Hatton's disregard for convention is evident. If you're looking for 'genres' that may be represented in this recording, you'll find 'rock, metal, funk, R&B, prog rock, jazz, and probably a few more', Or as Hatton's mantra says 'Songs with Music in Them.' The Italian Sound Machine on this EP are comprised of Cleveland music scene heavy weights, Alfredo Guerrieri on bass, Joe Stefano on drums, Joe Barone on Keys.
