Mike knocked around in several Colorado bands from Bourbon Street to Broomfield's legendary Basement Blues Band. He formed The TV Commercials with Steve Madsen and Scott McRae, who reformed as Talk Radio and garnered some local radio time with 'Cry, Cry' and 'Behind This Dumpster' An eponymous track 'Talk Radio' was used as promo and bumper-music for several radio talk shows. Mike formed True Infinity with Marc Olson, and still gets together some local talent. But the real twist is that much of the percussion on the recent releases had been provided by son Jack Rust, who's now 12 years old. Search Youtube for Mike Rust Evolver to see Jack in action.
