Love Bug

2014 release from the children's entertainer, his first album of new children's songs in 12 years. T his collection includes a number of tracks with specific themes including love, nature, play, teamwork, social responsibility, and the need to stop and smell the roses. The album also includes odes to recently departed heroes Pete Seeger ('Pete's Banjo') and Nelson Mandela ('Turn This World Around'). The only non-original composition on the record is Woody Guthrie's 'This Land Is Your Land.' A huge part of what Raffi does involves his Child Honouring philosophy which encourages a humane and sustainable world by addressing the universal needs of children and a unifying principle for restoring human and natural communities. Raffi is an icon in the children's world both as an entertainer and an educator.
