John Cameron Fogerty achieved fame as the lead singer/songwriter and guitarist in Creedence Clearwater Revival and has since gone on to a chart-topping solo career. They 9 hits singles in the UK including most notably – Bad Moon Rising which was No.1 in ’69 Proud Mary No.8 and Green River No.19. all written by Fogerty, all fueled by Fogerty's simple, driving rock songs and his burly baritone. Creedence split up in 1972. Fogerty released various solo projects with mixed success but began to rebuild his profile In 2005 when he released the Long Road Home: The Ultimate John Fogerty/Creedence Collection which went onto sell 60k units in the uk. Along an accompanying DVD Long Road Home: In Concert, the first compilation of its kind to feature both CCR classics and Fogerty's solo work. John Fogerty this year had a high profiled performance at Glastonbury and is expected a Q Award this year as well. Revival is an album of new songs.
