Reissue of this 2009 collection from the alt-rock band. The Very Best Things (1995-2008) is Filter's best-of compilation featuring career-spanning hits, rare edits, and four songs that were previously available only on soundtracks. Fronted by lead singer/guitarist Richard Patrick, Filter emerged in 1995 with the album Short Bus and breakthrough single "Hey Man, Nice Shot." Highlights from this collection include five cuts from their '98 platinum Billboard Top 40 album, Title Of Record, among them rare radio edits for the singles "Welcome To The Fold" and "Take A Picture." The evolution of Filter's music is revealed through four songs previously available only on soundtrack albums, such as "(Can't You) Trip Like I Do" from Spawn, as well as the 2008 track "Soldiers Of Misfortune" from their studio release Anthems For The Damned.
