This EP album turned out to be an unconscious homage to Lizzie's musical influences of the mid late 1970s. Having written the songs, including one co-written with a friend from high school, she enlisted the musical expertise of friends to produce, engineer and record sessions for the songs. A pleasure to listen to; melodic pop, bitter sweet lyrics with a touch of the whimsical and shades of ambience. There's powerful emotion in her strong vocal performance. Lizzie has a fairly impressive range with her mezze soprano voice and listeners should enjoy it's rich, sweet and full tone. Original, individual and quite simply, excellent.
