"This is for You", the new single from Swedish happen Vincent and at the same time the second release from his mostly self-composed and produced debut album: "Lucky Thirteen". Shortly after release in Sweden, the soulful urban pop record reaches gold status. The reason for this is clear: "Lucky Thirteen" is packed with sunny beathaps that mill smoothly into the middle ear - such as his debut single and summer hit "Miss Blue". In this country, the good mood number was released at the beginning of May 2008 on the Sony BMG label Columbia Germany, the album "Lucky Thirteen" follows on September 12. The album title "Lucky Thirteen" stands for Vincent's date of birth, a Friday the Thirteenth. For Vincent a lucky number - for us too, because his sound makes you want more acoustic treats! To be continued. Artist Biography: In 1980, Vincent is born in lively Stockholm, but he spends his childhood in deserted northern Sweden. At ten, a guitar finally finds its way there and lands right in Vincent's young hands. The teenager gradually discovers the different colors and shapes of music, especially the warm sounds of Bob Marley and the legendary off-beats of The Police. But Vincent knows that the chances of conquering the great music world from the Swedish diaspora are about as great as a vegetarian's annual Köttbull consumption. Both tend to zero. His way out towards urban music culture leads first to Örnsköldsvik for the purpose of music studies - after all located in central Sweden. From there, he finally moves to Stockholm. Just like his passion for fashion, his musical career finally begins to take on appealing forms here. In addition to his second study in "Music Production", Vincent gains stage experience in the Stockholm hip hop scene. Here he gains a name as a rapper and producer over eight years. In 2002, Vincent separates from hip-hop, which for him in the end represents more artificial role than musical fulfillment and decides to switch to the subject "Dub & Pop". Soon, his light melodies spread continuously throughout the country like warm cinnamon cream on Swedish multberries. Artist Commentary: Vincent is a lucky guy. It looks good, lives in Stockholm, has an excellent clothes taste. And his music releases more gückhormones than Swedish chocolate and almond cake combined. Vincent - this is the blonde Swede with sun in the blood and music in the heart! Since not only cars and furniture are deified "Made in Sweden" in Germany, "Miss Blue" became a radio hit with us. The accompanying video already has over a million views on Youtube. So much talent does not go unnoticed. Even in our concert halls, Vincent makes a stir with his casual show and cool band "Jalla Jinx". As support from Mark Ronson, Juanes and Kelly Clarkson or at the O2 music flash, Vincent was able to impressively present his live qualities. Even the rather rock-affine audience at Rock im Park und Rock am Ring infected with his feel-good sound. And when he has too much of the stage again, he buries himself into the studio and produces hits for artists such as Amanda Jenssen.
