2011 will celebrate the much awaited instrumental release of 'Circle of One', a collection of 10 new pieces of music that will inspire music lovers everywhere. Re-igniting his passion for instrumental guitar Glenn delivers infectious melodies with the artistic style and phrasing that only he can create. Born and raised in the suburbs of New Jersey, Glenn started playing guitar at the age of 11. "I basically grew up in my guitar teacher's studio." Glenn was influenced early on by the guitar work in Rush, Yes, Van Halen, and by classical music. While studying the craft of playing guitar, Glenn was also inspired by songwriters like Billy Joel and Journey who taught him to appreciate the melody of a great song. He also spends a great deal of time listening to new music. "Keeping current by listening to new music and studying the songwriting is very important to me. I try to blend my musical roots with the current tones and ideas in today's music to stay a fresh, well-rounded musician." Glenn is a Los Angeles based guitarist/songwriter who has been a part of many projects. His main project over recent years "Push" has played small clubs to large venues. This modern pop/rock band has opened for The Tubes, Tommy Tutone, and has played everywhere from the 'Las Vegas Strip' to many packed local houses. In 1998 Glenn released "The Living Guitar," an instrumental guitar album that gave him well deserved recognition. He played the local Jazz/Fusion scene, including playing with "Guitarapalooza," a network of like minded instrumental guitarists putting on showcase nights in Southern California. Glenn had been hired by many local artists to record on their records. Such as Frosty Stilwell of FM TALK I's "Frosty, Heidi and Frank", Singer/Songwriter 'Katie Shorey', from Songwriters Vantage, as well many others. Glenn and his instrumental backing band were hired by the legendary Jackie DeShannon to record "You Know Me" on Varese Sarabande Records. He played a series of shows in Southern California with Jackie after the album was released. "What a great experience to play with Jackie DeShannon, she was part of a great time in music's history." Glenn is always available for sessions, live shows and anything musical that might come up. He will also be performing and showcasing all over Southern California!.
