Syzygy - is a unity or an alignment of the universe and all that occurs in it. The 4th dimension is important to the improvising musician and in the 4th dimension everything exists always. In composition and improvisation, we must interpret the moment and be in unity with the past and present. Since our creator has organized the universe with what we begin to understand as sympathetic vibratory physics, the music I write is governed by the same physical laws that operate in our universe. I think of where my musical thoughts are now as a unity of self and being. --- Bill Koehler Bill Koehler - Five String Double Bass - Professor of Music at Illinois State University in applied double bass, music education, psychology of music, and compositon through improvisation. David Vayo - Professor of Music at Illinois Wesleyan University in composition, improvosation, contemporary music, and is Coordinator of New Music Activities. Manpreet Bedi - a virtuoso tablist and IT Project Leader/ Systems Analyst Bob McEntyre - a freelance drummer and emergency room doctor Carlos Avila - a graduate conducting student at ISU from Puerto Rico is a classical and Latin percussionist. John Hill - Professor of Percussion at Murray State University in Kentucky.
