With 'Soul Trio Bouncin’ In Bubbleverse', Berlin-based Matti Klein and his Soul Trio burst musical filter bubbles: odd-meter grooves, warm vintage keys (Wurlitzer, Rhodes Bass), expressive reeds (sax/bass clarinet) and elastic drums all combine to create a unique sound. With 350+ concerts performed globally, Matti & co have been praised by the BBC and Jazzwise in the UK, plus Deutschlandfunk in their home territory. Recorded in Klein’s own studio, the new album features a number of 'Echoes', musical reflections that transform his songs into new dimensions. They demonstrate that it can be both rewarding and fun to juggle with a wide variety of bubbles from the spheres of jazz, funk, hip-hop and space rock, exploring their boundaries and passionately popping them with pizzazz to discover new perspectives.
