"Oyster & Pearl" is soulful americana, it’s dirty retro RnB paired with creaky country rock elements.

With the new studio album by Hamburg-based blues rock band WellBad, which will be released on 23.05.25, the combination of musical convictions that has already been praised by the press and the public is breaking new ground. The sound is warm and edgy at the same time. Groovy, bluesy acoustic guitar riffs combine with pounding drums, creaky double basses, daring brass arrangements, pulsating electric guitars and the distinctive, low-frequency voice of lead singer Daniel Welbat to create 12 brand new tracks, which the frontman composed for his newborn daughter and produced in collaboration with producer Stephan Gade (Nils Frevert, Ina Müller and many more). The album is a kind of "roadmap for the crazy times we live in". It is a guide that is intended to be a bluesy-soulful starting aid for the new citizen of the world.
