Guo Gan 'Swordmen' Trio

Na zijn ervaringen met samenwerkingen met muzikanten uit verschillende delen van de wereld en zijn solo-album met klassieke stukken, keert de bekende Chinese muzikant Guo Gan terug naar zijn roots met een nieuw trio, genaamd `Swordmen Trio'. Dit bestaat uit Liu Yi Qing (pipa, zang), Chen Jiann (guzheng, zang) en Guo Gan zelf (erhu, zang). De cd combineert klassieke composities met nieuwe stukken geschreven door Gan. Nieuw is de aanwezigheid van de stem die gedichten zingt uit de Tang Dynastie.
