De Milanese Mamud Band heeft zich enkele jaren geleden volledig gewijd aan Afrobeat en komt nu met een eerbetoon aan Fela Kuti, de grondlegger van deze muziek. Tien bekende nummers als Colonial Mentality, Egbe Mi O, Zombie en No Agreement krijgen nieuwe arrangementen, waarbij Afrikaanse, Cubaanse en Braziliaanse percussie verwerkt worden in de funk-, latin- en reggaegrooves.
