Emma Cherry was born in Ipswich, Suffolk, England. Emma is the eldest child with two younger brothers and grew up listening to 80's pop music including Madonna, Michael Jackson. Then later The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac and Pink Floyd. As Emma Grew up, she found a passion for the likes of Fleetwood Mac and Pink Floyd among the Vinyl's that her Father kept. In 1995, aged 15 Emma learnt the very beginnings of playing Guitar. It wasn't long before Emma started to write songs. She was already used to singing live and took many singing roles within school productions and at the Italia Conti Associates Saturday School where she received singing lessons until the age of 17. Emma also completed 5 years studying Performing Arts, leaving in 2001 with a BA (Hons) Degree. In 2006 Emma wrote and recorded 'Here to Stay' with husband Gav composing the original music on piano. Since then further versions of 'Here to Stay' have been recorded, but none have ever been officially released. In 2007 Emma Recorded other original songs with fellow musician and producer Steve Mann at Attic Studio's, including 'Losing my Mind'. These songs can be found on Emma's MySpace Page. In 2008, paving the way forward, Emma invested in Pro Tools software and has semi converted her Dining Room at home into a Recording Studio. Since 2008, recordings Such a 'Higher', 'Won't Fall Away' and 'Paper Dreams' have been created almost solely by Emma in Her Dining Room in Ipswich. Emma is set to Officially release her Debut album 'Paper Dreams' containing 12 tracks in the Autumn/Winter of 2010 under her own Record Label 'Pink Apple Records'.

Aged 15 Emma learnt the very beginnings of how to play the guitar. It wasn't long before Emma started to write songs. She was already accustomed to singing live and took many singing/Acting roles within school productions Emma also studied at the Italia Conti Associates Saturday School where she received singing lessons until the age of 17. Emma also completed 5 years studying Performing Arts, leaving with a BA (Hons) Degree. Since then Emma has been playing live and writing songs on both guitar and piano. In 2008 Emma started recording her debut album 'Paper Dreams' from her dining room in her home town of Ipswich. Now ready to unleash her music to the world Emma's music is available worldwide on 26th November 2010 under her own label Pink Apple Records.
