Eric Schmitt is a singer/songwriter from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He released two CDs with his band Flatbed Honeymoon and is currently performing as himself. Piña Coladas and a Polynesian Girl offers a versatile compilation of tunes, ranging from catchy pop songs to barroom ballads to poignant reflections on matters of life and death. His solo album was recorded live on an old four track tape reel. The tone of the work is simple and real.
