Founded in 2011 in Northeast Kansas, The Tippers have experienced steady growth which has culminated in the 2013 debut EP 'Sunflowers.' Inspired by the likes of Johnny Cash, Stoney LaRue, and Zac Brown, the Tippers' unique sound combines elements from the classic, contemporary, and alternative country genres. The Tippers have developed a reputation for packing dance floors at their live shows, but their memorable lyrics and innovative vocal harmonies are what keeps their fans coming back for more. The Tippers offer something for every country music fan. Songs like 'Ain't In Kansas Anymore' and the title track 'Sunflowers' allow the listener to truly feel the band's connection to their Midwest roots. The use of powerful imagery and memorable themes paint a vivid picture that remains in the mind of the listener even after the song ends. 'In My Other Pants' is an upbeat salute to the classic country/early rock and roll genres; it tells the lighthearted story of moving on from a dysfunctional romance.
