Shortly after moving to NYC, Casey met kindred spirit and producer Dan Siegler (HBO, Showtime, Morley, Chris Dowd of Fishbone), and the two began working on her first album. Casey acquainted herself with the City's musical landscape at venues such as Cafe Vivaldi and The Bitter End, delivering her uniquely engaging repertoire of original songs with "the sweetness and genuine charm to pack a performance space" (Music Historian). Beyond her musical pursuits, Casey has worked at anti-poverty non-profit organizations, and is an avid yoga practitioner and registered yoga teacher. Her desire to record and share her songs is rooted in her belief that music connects and heals people. On the back of her album cover, she writes, "Thank you to everyone who listens to these songs.
