Speer is also well known for over 250 projects bearing his name as producer. A two- time Emmy winner, and GRAMMY-nominee, Speer is an active steward in the contemporary instrumental movement. His contemporaries and collaborators include GRAMMY-winning instrumentalists, Tingstad & Rumbel; internationally recognized filmmaker and Emmy winner, Jan Nickman; internationally renowned pianist and GRAMMY nominee, David Lanz; as well as Scott Rockenfield, the inimitable drummer of Queensryche. As an artist and producer he attained gold and platinum awards for "Cristofori's Dream," "Desert Vision," and "Natural States" respectfully; and a GRAMMY nomination for TeleVoid with Rockenfield.
