While most people would associate Jason Aaron Wood to his work on the electric guitar, his acoustic guitar work shows a completely new side of his style, rich with interweaving harmonies and played with elegant nuance. The style is hard to nail down - at times, it sounds 'Spanish' or 'Gypsy,', while at other times it sounds very Classical. While the Reflections CD runs on the short side (the whole CD is 21:47 long in total), each of the 9 songs is it's own creature - it's own brief fantasy.
