Originally this project began as an experimental groove project, and evolved into a more melodic and dynamic alternative sound. We like to think that we are a mix of genres, incorporating elements ranging from post-rock to pop. Ultimately we strive to make great songs that can be appreciated by musicians and the average listener alike. We want to make music that is both exciting to us and will move those who listen to it. We come from diverse musical backgrounds and each member makes a unique contribution to the music. During the formation of the band, all of the members met through musician want adds around Seattle. The band started writing material in August, 2010. The current lineup has been together since October, 2011. In the studio, we spent 3 days laying down the "bed tracks" of bass and drums at Robert Lang Studios. We then spent several weekends recording vocals, keyboard and guitar at Houdini's Tree studios. We took our time in post-production making sure the mixing and mastering were done well before releasing the album. The artwork was done by our own Erin Mario.
