Flamenco: inside/out was founded in the fall of 2009 and immediately began pre-production on their self produced Off-Broadway debut during the the 2010 New York Flamenco Festival when they were the only stateside group to present a compelling New York take on the art form. Their show included a live VJ, sound design, and a cast of seven dancers and musicians brought in from all over the United States. Appearing weekly in Manhattan, they are a growing force in moving the art form past the stereotype while making it accessible and understandable to their audience. This is their first release featuring traditional and original compositions that capture the spirit, passion and artistry seen in their live shows.
