'Things Are Coming My Way!' is Fox and Branch's 4th CD for families, celebrating 10 years of playing music for children and their parents. Dave Fox and Will Branch aimed to make a fun, happy, goofy CD this time - 'Samantha the Butterfly' is a very silly song that's fun to dance to, and so is 'Alice the Camel.' There's the fun title track, 'Things Are Coming My Way,' and 'Everybody Makes Mistakes,' which will have kids laughing at the mistakes Dave and Will have made. In between the goofy songs, there's some quieter songs for the whole family, like 'John O' Dreams' and 'What a Wonderful World.' Dave and Will are joined by some talented friends this time around, including bassist Guy Fiorentini and pianist Alison Gima. Kaita Bliffert plays harmonium and sings, and a group of girls contributed some great background vocals. All in all, 'Things Are Coming My Way!' is another fun CD for the whole family from Fox and Branch, made with their usual warmth and humour, and the usual solid musicianship.
