The Alleluia Ringers under the direction of Dr. John Behnke have developed into one of the finest university handbell choirs in the United States. 13 students play 72 handbells and 72 handchimes. In addition to concerts throughout the U.S, The Alleluia Ringers have taken 3 concert tours of Germany, 2 tours of Norway, and 1 tour to Latvia. Six times they have appeared with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra for their Holiday Pops concerts. The first time was in 1992 when they appeared with Maureen McGovern, Mel Torme, under the direction of Doc Severinsen.
