Familiar Places featuring his original compositions and covering the venerable Jimmy Heath's classic tribute to Dizzy, Without You - No Me . Vivid orchestrations color this set list, featuring Rodney Green with Zaccai and Luques Curtis on piano and bass, respectively. Flautist Don Braden, trumpeter Bruce Harris, trombonist Michael Dease, guitarist Mark Whitfield and master trumpeter Claudio Roditi share the front line with Garrison, who also doubles on baritone saxophone.
