'Point A to Point A' contains nine original compositions by the co-leaders and a funky reworking of the bebop classic, 'Ornithology' The album covers the bases from swinging blues and shuffles (On The B. T, Point A to Point A), up-tempo burners (Shaw Is Woody, Clarion Call, Prose and Consequence), beautiful ballads (Fall, Waterwind, Reflection), funk (Ornithology) and a vocal tribute to Monk (It's All Thelonious). 'Point A' features the playing of co-leaders Reggie Pittman on trumpet and flugelhorn and Loren Daniels on piano and vocals. They are joined by virtuoso jazz masters Bill Moring on bass and Tim Horner on drums and percussion.
