As Christmas approaches with the passing of yet another year, I can't help but think back on all my favorite Christmas Seasons that have come and gone. In my mind, mixed in with all the images of glistening trees, smiling faces and happy joyful laughs, are the simple traditions of Christmas. In the backdrop of our memories lie the true and simple experiences of Christmas, from the first taste of a freshly baked sugar cookie, to grandma's hug on Christmas day, to the smell of an apple cinnamon candle burning in the air and finally to the hum of classic holiday music replaying ever-so softly in the depths of our hearts. These simple traditions make each and every Christmas unique and special. The melodic blends performed on this album are reminiscent of those Christmas traditions that have, with no hesitation, passed on into the depths of our Christmas memories.
