The album was voted album of the year by a local band in the Palm Beach Post, and was also mentioned in one of Stereogum's year-end lists. The album also got a positive review in French music blog PopNews, and the band was hailed as a band to watch for the next years. As a testimony to the band's commitment to their art, a second album called 'Oscillation Isolator ' has just been released, less than a year after their debut effort. " - Julian Flacelier, Popnews.com Tour information: In 2008, Fire Zuave played over 100 shows in their original South Florida, embarked on two tours of the East Coast and the Midwest, and toured Florida as the support act for of Montreal and the Fiery Furnaces. After relocating to Athens, Georgia earlier this year, the band is set to launch into their biggest tour to date, including some more dates as of Montreal's support act. Other notes : Chuck works closely with his cousin Kevin Barnes (of Montreal) on band, recording and stage performance ideas to refine a unique appeal. The band also takes pride in it's original artwork and puts a lot of thought and effort into it's visual presentation,both on stage and on record.
