As a bassist and singer, Rob has performed or recorded with top artists including Randy Brecker, Marion Meadows, Chris Parker and Joe Beck He has performed the opening act for Manhattan Transfer, Tower Of Power, BB King and YES and plays with The Rob Fried Group, Bone Dry and Stoneband. Mixing jazz and Latin with his roots in rock and pop, Rob's compositions reveal his enduring fascination with the key elements in nature: wind, water, wood, earth, fire and metal, and can be heard on his current release, Water Rhapsody' as well as his 2007 release, 'Wind Song'.
