Ian Lowthian . Accordion. A Borderer born and bred.One of the first accordion players to graduate from the Royal Academy of Music in London . After performing around the world he is settled back in the Borders and has been integral to all Well Road Productions over the past ten years.He has played with many top artists including Mark Knoffler on his chart topping hits.Now spends most of his time teaching and composing as well as running his own music school and ceilidh band. Bruce McGregor. Fiddle. Founder and head of super group “Blazin Fiddles” recording artist, broadcaster and presenter of travelling folk on Radio Scotland for 11 years. He has been one of the most influential traditional musicians over the past two decades.Composer of chart topping “Doddies Dream”.
