Plockdown

As the name suggests, “Plockdown” was recorded in the fairly challenging circumstances of the Covid-19 pandemic. The 20th annual CD of the students of the National Centre of Excellence in Traditional Music contains the usual mix of traditional and contemporary material chosen and arranged often composed by the students themselves. The Centre is proud to be able to provide an outlet for the creativity of these talented young people, and to see the great Scottish musical tradition being kept moving forward as a consequence.
