REVIEW
Murray Perahia and the Academy of St Martin in the Fields was (and still is) a musical marriage made in heaven. Supremely natural and technically mellifluous, watching their Beethoven piano concerto cycle recorded live in London's Royal Festival Hall in 1988 conducted by Sir Neville Marriner, the sense of orchestra and soloists working together in complete accord is palpable. Excellent sound, picture quality and direction from Rodney Greenberg round out an outstanding release. --International Record Review, June 2014
