Menahem Pressler - The Pianist

Collection of live performances from concert pianist Menahem Pressler. The first performance is of Mozart's 'Piano Concerto No. 23' recorded at the 2014 New Year's Eve Concert with the Berliner Philharmoniker. 'In Recital' sees Pressler performing a recital of works by Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy and Schubert at the Cité de la Musique, Paris, in March 2011. In celebration of his 90th birthday, Pressler performs with the Quatuor Ebène at the Salle Pleyel in Paris in November 2013. Finally, Pressler gives a live performance at the Salle Pleyel in Paris. With Paavo Järvi conducting the Orchestre de Paris in January 2014, Menahem plays Mozart's 'Piano Concertos Nos. 23 and 27' and Debussy's 'Clair de Lune'. The collection also contains the documentary 'Menahem Pressler: The Life I Love' (2015).
