This documentary adopts the perspective of the Lucerne Festival Academy participants to get across what is so special about the summer academy, marked above all by the personality of its founder, Pierre Boulez. Like no-one else, Boulez has influenced the development of new music since the War. Lucerne Festival Academy offers a unique opportunity to observe Boulez methods and plug in to his thoughts about music.
