Inertialmessung ermöglicht Führungs-, Navigations- und Kontrollsysteme und Instrumente, die nicht auf externe Referenzen für die Navigation angewiesen sind. Es entwirft Instrumente und Sensoren in einer Vielzahl von Technologien - mechanisch, optisch und mikrooptisch, atombasiert -, um die Leistungs-, Kosten- und Größenvorgaben der Kunden in einer Vielzahl von Umgebungen für Anwendungen zu erfüllen, die von strategischen Militärplattformen über Systeme auf Mannschaftsebene bis hin zu kommerziellen Systemen reichen.
