At seventeen years of age Charlsey Lee wrote 'Once In a Lifetime' to sing to her husband on their wedding day. She had been searching for just the right song and couldn't find anything that totally described how she felt, and what she wanted to convey, so she wrote a wedding song herself. This title song is professionally written and recorded. There are very few wedding songs that are on Christian radio, so Charlsey Lee wanted to make this song available to all! The song takes you from pledging your love in the eyes of our Heavenly Father, walking down the aisle, how it feels when your eyes meet, remembering that 1st kiss, to when the Pastor proclaims you as one, and the groom kisses his bride. "Keep on Preaching" was wrote for all those Pastors/Preachers/Christians who feel like giving up. For those who have lost so much. The verses were based upon a man Charlsey Lee knew, who was a born again Christian in her church. He was a roofer and was working late one day. As he was talking, he stepped back and nothing was there. He fell off the roof and landed on the banister railing with his back. He broke his back and severed his spinal cord. He is still paralyzed from the waist down to this day. She wanted to convey that no matter what happens in this life, to "Keep on Preaching to the people, keep on praying at the alter, keep on singing that same old song. For one day, when you reach that beautiful city, you'll be found worthy. So Keep on Preaching, keep on praying, just keep on!" One day Charlsey Lee wrote the song "How Deep is the Father's Love". She wrote it in less than fifteen minutes! God gave her the music and the words to this song to share. God's love for us is deep, wide, far, long, vast, grand, great and strong, and this song describes how! This is a great congregational song. She gets a standing ovation each time this song is sung. The timeless classics "Amazing Grace" and "I'll Fly Away" are also on the album. Charlsey Lee could not record an album without singing those songs she grew up with that were so instrumental in her love for music. This album contains original Contemporary Christian songs, Old Fashioned Hymns, and Honky-Tonk'n-Hoe-Down songs as well (with a world renowned fiddle player)!
