2014 release from the cult Punk Cabaret band. LULU - a MURDER BALLAD was inspired by Frank Wedekind's Lulu plays EARTH SPIRIT and PANDORA'S BOX. Commissioned and produced by Opera North, the show features a whole new cycle of songs and stunning virtual sets by Mark Holthusen, who's directed and created the visuals for most of the band's recent shows, including critically acclaimed Rime of the Ancient Mariner. The album LULU A MURDER BALLAD, contains 17 brand new Tiger Lillies songs and a twisted cover version of Cole Porter's classic "My Heart Belongs to Daddy".
