Broken Dreams Club

Named in Pitchfork's '200 Most Important Artists of the Last 25 Years', the San Franciscan songwriting duo Girls imparted a massive sonic shift on their last 2010 EP 'Broken Dreams Club', before breaking up in 2012. The band emerged with a more massive, lusher sound with horns, pedal steel, and psychedelic effects throughout. Upon its release, Christopher Owens described the exuberant six songs as a 'letter of intent', 'snapshot of the horizon', and 'step up' from its stunning predecessor 'Album'.
