Sean Penn ( Dead Man Walking ) heads a sterling cast in the Phil Joanou ( Final ysis ) directed crime film, State of Grace . Penn is Terry Noonan, an undercover cop who to his friends, former lover and Irish American Hell’s Kitchen roots after a ten-year absence. Housing this secret, Terry finds himself drawn into a nest of organized crime that will bring about deadly consequences. The film also stars Gary Oldman ( Darkest Hour ), Robin Wright (TV’s House of Cards ), Ed Harris ( The Truman Show ), John Turturro ( The Big Lebowski ), John C. Reilly ( Boogie Nights ) and Burgess Meredith ( Rocky ). Cinematographer Jordan Cronenweth ( Blade Runner ) supplies the atmospheric visuals and composer Ennio Morricone ( The Hateful Eight ) contributes a lush score.
