Derek Joseph is a musical prophet with a message to encourage believers in Jesus Christ to live their faith out as a lifestyle. Derek is also the lead singer and founder of Isaiah Six, a worship band with an international impact, though he recently launched his solo ministry career in addition to his work with Isaiah Six. His debut release, Prophets & Princes, is a musical journey through Derek's journals as he walked through a long wilderness of spiritual burnout and depression. The result is an album full of the themes of brokenness, grace, and worship. A one-time missionary to Tanzania, where he nearly died of malaria, Derek's heart for the nations also shines on this album. Derek's songs have been featured on Worship Leader Magazine's CD SongDiscovery and Worshiper Magazine's CD Access, and are being sung by Christians all over the world. A husband, father, author of three books, Derek continues to be a herald of the grace of God, carrying a passion to see an army of believers that have "been with Jesus" reach the world for Christ. Derek's wife, Heidi Jo, is also an artist, and continues to produce her own music. Together, they live in Lima, NY, with their four children.
