Joe Amato started singing in the church choir when he was 10 years old. In the early 60's he was an original member of The Del-Satins, the group that recorded with DION on hits like RUNAROUND SUE, RUBY BABY and THE WANDERER. Later in the 60's he joined JOEY DEE and the STARLIGHTERS. He replaced a young unknown guitar player named JIMI HENDRIX. Joe has written songs for many artist including B.B. KING on the " KING OF THE BLUES" CD. Joe also produced his own radio show on WNNJ. He played Doo Wopp and R&B. Joe was then invited to join the Las Vegas Show "LEGENDS IN CONCERT". He performed with that show for 10 years. Later Joe replaced one of the members of The Four Aces and sang with them for many years.
