Jim Carpenter's Bahia Honda was a slow process, casually tracked over a couple years in Nashville and at LOCO DARE, his Connecticut studio. During that process, Jim produced, engineered, and performed heavily on cds by The Rivergods, Village Jammers, Full Dempsey, Vince Thompson, and The Hoolios. Bahia Honda is a heartfelt collection of songs - stories primarily - drawn from his transient childhood on the islands of Chincoteague, Key West, and Cape May. The acoustic set features guest appearances by Nashville session elite Andrea Zonn, Rob Ickes, Byron House, Jack Sundrud and John Mock. In addition to being an award-winning songwriter - known for his thought-provoking lyrics, intimate performances, and infectious Latin, Cajun, and country-bluegrass rhythms - Jim Carpenter (aka, James Waine Carpenter) is a published short story writer.
