Described as 'a pop tribute to Anthony Meynell & Squire', with a worldwide collection of bands and artists playing homage to both. Anthony Meynell & his band Squire, were at the forefront of the Mod Revival from 1978 till around 1984 with a few appearances in the charts with "Walking Down The Kings Road" & "The Face Of Youth Today", but it's Meynell's ingenious exploits to the USA and the lasting impression he left that inspired this compilation, as He was the first British musician to contact and become involved in the growing US Mod scene at the time in the early 80s.
