Gideon Records was founded by Worship pastor and recording artist James Ferguson in the spring of 2006. The desire to start a record company and do an album was inspired by a trip to Ukraine where God gave James the albums title song 'At Your Throne'. Seeing the need for biblical teaching on worship and the need for small and large churches to see the power of God through praise and worship James set to create his first album. Garnering the talents of other musicians and worship pastors to create the CD helped make the sound and quality inspiring and uplifting. James Ferguson was born and raised in Coeur d'Alene, ID. Through the strength of a loving family and God fearing mother. James grew up and answered Gods call to ministry out of High School. Graduating from Christ for the Nations in Dallas, TX. with his degree in practical Theology. James set out to make his mark on the world for God. 10 years later James passion has not diminished nor his desire for reaching the lost. James resides in Woodland California with his beautiful wife and 4 boys.
