Postured for Praise is not just an ordinary choir, they are postured to offer unreserved praise that leads others into a deeper realm of Praise and Worship. Postured for Praise is to position your life for God to use you. This can only be done by having a real intimate relationship with God, expecting Him in His power, and consecrating to draw closer to Him. The musicians and vocalists agree that being a part of Postured for Praise has intensified their personal worship. The Sign of the Dove choir was formed in 1997 having only 12 members. The group performed in many venues throughout the community helping people experience a new form of praise and worship free from tradition. In 2001, a metamorphosis took place and the choir was named Postured for Praise. They began to grow spiritually and musically. As Postured for Praise, the choir has lead Praise and Worship for many churches, concerts and programs in Lake County, IL, Wisconsin, Kentucky and internationally in Africa, India and Eastern Europe. They have been noted as a choir that operates with a spirit of excellence that is not about showmanship, but pure worship. Postured for Praise released their first CD project "Let Your Glory Return to this Temple," under the direction of Pastor Cory E. Ratliff. With the release of their latest sophomore project 'Fruit of my Lips', Pastor Cory has distributed some necessary tools to overcome the many obstacles in life that we face. The continuing International and cross-cultural style, along with the responsibilities of leading Sunday morning worship and ministry within the local body, Postured for Praise continues to draw a well diverse audience while continuing to show others how to access.
