Mit 'Follow Through' wagen 'Unspoken' neue Schritte: Auf erfrischende Art und Weise kombinieren sie HipHop, Soul, Pop und Folk mit Bläsern und elektronischen Klängen - ohne dabei ihren charakteristischen Sound zu verlieren. Ihre Lieder zeugen von den Höhen und Tiefen der vergangenen Jahre. Frontmann Chad Mattson sagt dazu: 'Eine Zeit lang habe ich mich regelrecht ausgebrannt gefühlt. So, als hätte ich nichts mehr zu geben. Dieses Album repräsentiert für mich gewissermaßen einen Neuanfang, geistig wie musikalisch.' Und das spürt man dem Album auch ab. So erzählt die Up-Tempo-Nummer 'Higher' beispielsweise davon, wie Gott uns durch unsere Sorgen und Probleme hindurchträgt, während die Ballade 'Wait On You' dazu ermutigt, den Blick trotz aller Schwierigkeiten auf Gott zu richten.
