Grazzia Giu composes, writes and sings with a sensibility that shows as much in her texts as in her compositions. Three talented musicians, Sandrine Marchetti on the piano, Gil Lachenal on the double bass and Miguel Sanchez on percussions; enhance her magnificent voice and offers an intimate programme of jazz songs performed with considerable delicacy and emotion. Grazzia Giu is memorising her childhood, here love affairs, her doubts and suffering. Sitting in front of her piano, hers melodies come into the world. An atmosphere shows itself. Her heart is singing a story about woman, children and about men. The choice of the 3 pictures (triptych) on the CD is realised by a painter (Cecil Beaupère) and friend of Grazzia Giu which reflects well the lost being, who tries to recharged batteries to meet itself better.
